What is Stucco Coating and how is it done?
Elastomeric coatings are designed for use on masonry and concrete construction to prevent water from penetrating into building and home interiors. The flexible film covers and hides hairline cracks.
The process we use for stucco coating is to remove shutters and down spouts, treat stucco with a mildecide/cleaning agent and power wash. Windows and doors are covered in plastic. Then two coats of a quality elastomeric coating like Sherwin Williams Loxon XP are applied to all stucco.
